What impact has this activity had on the pupils involved (at your school or in your local community)?
It has sensitized pupils on how poor pattern of waste disposal constitutes threats to our health and environment. It has created awareness on wealth creation via waste recycling.
Comment on the impact this activity has had on you and any other staff involved (at your school or other schools).
Staffs are tapping into wealth generation through waste recycling. It has led to positive waste management behaviour, that is sorting of waste into different recyclable materials.
Comment on the impact this activity has had on the school generally.
The school has started waste segregation method so as to promote reusing, reducing and recycling waste materials and minimizing their ecological effects. This has also helped to create a cleaner and more hygienic environments around the school.
Please make any suggestions for improvement (e.g. What was the most effective part of this activity for you and why? What was the least effective and why?)
Sustaining a continuous habit of waste segregation among the pupils is found difficult because it took a while for them to adapt to the new waste management policy.
Any other comments?
Waste recycling should be promoted and encouraged in the society at large. It will help keep our environment cleaner and safer for living
