ISA Young Person Activity Evaluation Form

NAME: NNAJI CLAIRE EZINNE

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: Waste Recycling, Creating Wealth and Keeping us safe.

YEAR GROUP: 14 – 16

DATE: 01 – 02 – 2024

Going out on a field trip to where waste segregation are been carried out and getting it ready for recycling.

What we call waste, are not actually waste because they can be recycled to generate wealth.

Being irritated by the atmosphere where waste sorting is being done because it has to do with joints.

I would prefer a more organized and neater environment Where waste sorting can be done.

ISA Teacher Activity Evaluation Form

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: Waste Recycling, Creating Wealth and Keeping us safe.

YEAR GROUP: 14 – 16

DATE: 01 – 02 – 2024

It has sensitized pupils on how poor pattern of waste disposal constitutes threats to our health and environment. It has created awareness on wealth creation via waste recycling.

Staffs are tapping into wealth generation through waste recycling. It has led to positive waste management behaviour, that is sorting of waste into different recyclable materials.

The school has started waste segregation method so as to promote reusing, reducing and recycling waste materials and minimizing their ecological effects. This has also helped to create a cleaner and more hygienic environments around the school.

Sustaining a continuous habit of waste segregation among the pupils is found difficult because it took a while for them to adapt to the new waste management policy.

Waste recycling should be promoted and encouraged in the society at large. It will help keep our environment cleaner and safer for living

ISA Visitor Activity Evaluation Form

NAME: MR. ORJI

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: Waste Recycling, Creating Wealth and Keeping us safe.

YEAR GROUP: 14 – 16

DATE: 01 – 02 – 2024

The pupils are now conscious of the recyclable waste around them. It has also exposed the pupils involved to many benefits inherent in waste recycling.

This activity has opened my eyes to the dangers involved if the waste generated are not properly managed or recycled.

The school now has different waste bins for different recyclable materials e.g paper, plastic, etc. and biodegradable materials.

This activity should be encouraged among younger generations like primary school pupils.

ISA Parent/Guardian Activity Evaluation Form

NAME: Mr. Wale Adesina

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: Waste Recycling, Creating Wealth and Keeping us safe.

YEAR GROUP: 14 – 16

DATE: 01 – 02 – 2024

  1. The activity has raised awareness on the need for recycling.
  2. The activity has exposed my child to the wealth creation opportunities of recycling.

I helped my child in researching about recycling plants in Lagos and also on the types of recycling plants in Lagos and also on the types of recyclable waste.

I will advise that the school should check up on what neighbouring West African Countries are doing on Waste recycling and subsequently compare this with what is obtainable in Nigeria.

This project is highly commended for its massive impact on the community and environment.
