Enhancing global communication and breaking language barriers can contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) by promoting inclusive and quality education for all. Language barriers often hinder access to education and limit opportunities for learning, particularly for marginalized and disadvantaged populations. By improving global communication and language access, we can create more inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse linguistic backgrounds. This can help to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their language proficiency, have equal access to education and can fully participate in educational opportunities. Moreover, by promoting multilingualism and cross-cultural communication, we can foster a more diverse and interconnected global community. This can lead to greater understanding and respect for different cultures, promoting tolerance and empathy among individuals from diverse linguistic backgrounds. In summary, efforts to enhance global communication and break language barriers can help to advance SDG 4 by promoting inclusive education and creating a more diverse and interconnected learning environment that benefits all individuals, regardless of their linguistic background.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: ENHANCING GLOBAL COMMUNICATION AND BREAKING THE LANGUAGE BARRIERS IN A GLOBAL WORLD

YEAR GROUP: 10 – 13

DATE: 18 – 11 – 2023

I enjoyed the fact that we were able to learn cultures and languages from different countries. What I liked the best was the anthems from different countries.

I have learnt that it is important to learn different languages and cultures.

What I enjoyed least what probably the dance. You would need a lot of practice to perfect it.

I would like to bring in external people to watch our performance.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: ENHANCING GLOBAL COMMUNICATION AND BREAKING THE LANGUAGE BARRIERS IN A GLOBAL WORLD

YEAR GROUP: 10 – 13

DATE: 18 – 11 – 2023

This activity has gone a long way in enhancing global communication and also breaking language barriers amongst the learners.

My team and I have been greatly impacted by every bit of the activities carried out. Our eyes were opened to the relevance of effective global communication.

The school through this activity has been able to enlighten and expose the learners to the impressive result of effective global communication and the breaking of various language barriers.

The display of various cultural activities and dance steps were so amazing. However, more cultural groups may be included to give a wider view.

The act of enhancing global communication and breaking language barriers should be a continuous project as it promotes peace and unity.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: ENHANCING GLOBAL COMMUNICATION AND BREAKING THE LANGUAGE BARRIERS IN A GLOBAL WORLD

YEAR GROUP: 10 – 13

DATE: 18 – 11 – 2023

This activity exposed students to different languages in order to foster cultural understanding and empathy. Students learn to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and culture.

This activity gave me proficiency in multiple languages which I believe enhances career opportunities, especially in multinational companies where bilingual skills are highly valued.

As a visitor, I believe this activity has created more inclusive and diverse learning environment that will foster acceptance and appreciation of different cultures in the school. The activity has also added to the reputation of the school locally and internationally for being committed to global communication.

Schools should implement language learning programs from an early age to facilitate language acquisition and proficiency development among students. Furthermore, technology can be utilized to facilitate language learning and cross-cultural communication.

This activity helps to enhance students’ educational, professional and personal development in an increasingly interconnected world. The impact of the activity on students is significantly positive.

TITLE OF ACTIVITY: ENHANCING GLOBAL COMMUNICATION AND BREAKING THE LANGUAGE BARRIERS IN A GLOBAL WORLr

YEAR GROUP: 10 – 13

DATE: 18 – 11 – 2023

This activity has had a huge impact on my child. It has exposed my child to learning how to exchange pleasantries and greeting with other languages of the world thereby promoting world unity and breaking barriers.

I was a guest parent, as such was involved from the start. However, the activity of presenting various languages and dance helped me to say “Good Morning” in a certain way in Yoruba Language.

It could be improved upon if the school would introduce all foreign languages learning into the curriculum.

I commend the school for this wonderful event and wishing it becomes an annual program.
