IMPACT ASSESSMENT

IMPACTS OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AS A 21ST CENTURY SKILL

This activity has helped to raise awareness about the positive and negative impact of digital technology in education. It fostered a sense of community and promoted collaborative learning since students had to come together to share ideas based on their experiences. Finally, it inspired community members to take actions and make informed decisions about the technology use in education by harnessing its power and advantages while ensuring adequate management and prevention of its consequences or disadvantages.

During this activity, we were able to partner with Delhi Public school, India, which brought about a touch of an international perspective to the project. Moving forward, partnerships with international organisations to support global education initiatives. We can as well invite international speakers and experts to participate in future talk shows and debates. Continually, we can collaborate with global educational institutions to share best practices and experiences when it comes to the impacts of digital technology in education. With the implementation of the approved strategies, we can sustain international ethos of both the partnering organisations and the ISA project at large.

Future programs should include the following;

  1. Organise workshops on digital literacy and technology integration in education.
  2. Student led projects and presentations showcasing effective technology use in learning.
  3. Community outreach programs to promote digital inclusion and address technology access disparities.
